The Thrive by Five Summit is an opportunity for us to bring together industry experts, community stakeholders, business and governmental leaders, and families to have real discussions around Birth to Five Initiatives.
Our programming covers topics such as the State of Early Childhood in Pinellas, Holistic Child Development, Cradle to Career Trajectory, and Thrive by Five Initiatives. Improving early childhood through equitable and accessible access, is an action we can take now that will have a long term impact on our families and community.
We are excited to welcome a lineup of speakers who are not only experts, but are skilled in providing dynamic and engaging content in a way that resonates with everyone. The Voices of Early Childhood Champions panel includes Karen Boggess with the Juvenile Welfare Board, Michael Feeney with Pinellas County Schools, Leah McRae with the City of St. Petersburg, Pastor Carlos Senior with New Hope Church, and Gerrit Van Lent with the Children’s Movement of Florida. The Panel is moderated by Dr. LaDonna Butler of USF Family Studies Center.
Opportunity for Questions
Our event keynote will be delivered by David Lawrence Jr., founder of the Children’s Movement of Florida, and author of A Dedicated Life: Journalism, Justice and a Chance for Every Child. After he shares his expertise and experience in the field of early childhood development, he will open up the floor for a Q&A session to take on the questions that matter most to you.
We invite you to join us on February 26th at the Center for Health Equity to be a part of a movement geared towards ensuring that the children of Pinellas County are thriving in every area of life. Register HERE!
